chrome is so overrated. I much prefer a classy & subtle satin or brushed finish, Raleigh Sports components being the exception, of course.

And sure, there are plenty of companies putting out bikes that are not red/white and black: Soma, Surly, Masi, even Raleigh (just look at all the other steel framed offerings they have this year. Now, if we're talking about this popular red/white/black color scheme, yes, it is very popular among the modern carbon fiber racing crowd, but I see plenty of other color schemes out there as well.
