Cycling from Calgary airport
Cycled Calgary - Vancouver many years ago via Lake Louise/Golden/Revelstoke and it was a great trip.
Have the chance to do it again, but this time I want to do a more southerly route, so need some help deciding if I should
head south over the Crowsnest pass to Cranbrook/Van or go Banff/Radium HS/Cranbrook/Van. ?
If heading for the Crowsnest Pass, what would be the best route from Calgary airport?
Is there a bike path that follows highway 2 ? Also see on Goog maps there's a Deerfoot trail ? Suitable for cycling ?
Will be light touring on a road bike and will probably stay at hostels/cheap motels.
