I have SKS fenders (mudguards) on my Mu SL and like them very much. They fit fine with the Kojaks. My Mu came with short arm V brakes and these had to be changed to long arm V brakes to accomodate the height of the fender. You get used to (and enjoy) the lightness of the bike, and so far I have had no problems on hills. I added a lightweight rear rack, Ergon GC2 grips and bar ends, and a Brooks B17 saddle but it is still very light, and I love it.
