Cookie Lady Update:
She is still recovering from her stroke. Although she just got the cast off her right arm yesterday(6-3-05), she still can't use it very much because it is very weak, and the left is not working properly after the stroke.
While she is doing Okay physically, financially she needs all the help that we touring cyclists can give. She has been taking care of us for all of these years now it is our turn to take care of her! Please help her out. She expressed how grateful she is for all of the checks that she has been getting. She is using the money to pay for an assistant to help her with day to day things, like cooking, cleaning, shopping, all of the kind of things that we take for granted until we can't do them for our self anymore. Also she needs work on her well. (As in her water source) Social Security (with or without Bush) just isn't enough to live on, so please help her out!
