I made the mistake of using it again and then it broke again mid ride. luckily I was able to pick it up, but the case had been scratched on the lens. I gave up on this camera after that. I should get a new case since I dropped 100+ on the camera. I say if you aren't racing, get the helmet mount. They also have a chest mount but I don't know how good that works or how it feels.
