What do you think of this single shifter?



I have had this set kicking around for a long time, hoping to find a bicycle that it would be correct and work on. No such beast has come my way so far.

I sort of like the rational behind what the OP is doing. I found this old five speed Torpado to be perfect, in third, most of the time, however; it was nice to be able to go to a higher gear, when needed...
