Are my road bike forks twisted ?
The space between the dropouts is exactly 100mm.
When I place the forks on a flat glass surface with the fork crown flat against the glass and the blades curved down onto the glass, the two dropouts do not sit evenly on the glass. One dropout sits 7.3 mm above the glass.
Does this mean the axle is 7.3mm out of allignment? Is 7.3mm significant? If I get the forks "fixed" will this weaken them and be dangerous ?
What do people think, its not something I have seen before ?
