Felt isn't stocked by any LBS. After looking at the suggestions and reading a few sights, I think a steel bike is right for me. Having trouble distinguishing differences between the bikes and wethere or not the differences would benefit me or be something I should avoid.

The bikes I'm looking at are the suggested Allez Double Steel, Jamis Aurora, Jamis Satellite, Raleigh Port Townsend and Raleigh Grand Prix, and Fuji Touring.

Does the Fuji have mtb bike gears? How does it compare to bikes with road gears. The Satellite has a carbon fork, what kind of difference does that make? Lastly, I think I would like a bike that could use a wider tire, how can you tell which bikes can use say a 32c tire?

Thanks for any insight y'all can provide.
