I'm a mature and very active gal and wanted to take riding up again following a decade layoff - just recreational but serious enough that I'm willing to commit 3-4 days a week.
Saw and used "Bike Forums" extensively in selecting my a new bike and digs (come on now, bikes are like shoes and a girl never has enough), as my old one was stolen a few years ago out of a locked, screened patio and yard.
Anyway, I'm really pleased to be a part of this forum and it was quite helpful as I obsessed over purchasing a new bike - settled on the 2011 Marin Highway One and dying for it to arrive
I live in LA, co-own a small consulting practice, travel a bit and missed bicycling so much as a compliment to Pilates that . . . I'm Back, Jack!
