Question bike stand for low-entry frame?

I searched and didn't find anything overly useful.

My wife's hybrid is a Cannondale Adventure Feminine which has a low-entry frame-- the top tube nearly follows the lower tube. This is a problem for most stands because they usually rest under the top tube. Additionally, her frame is very compact and the effective top tube length is way shorter than a traditional frame.

I've got one of these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000UUEF7E

Her Cannondale won't go on it. The arms are fully adjustable, but you can't fit it in the narrow gaps between the top tube and lower tube. We don't have a garage so hanging it by the wheels is a no-go. We do have a shed, and if I don't find a solution for indoor storage the bike will be in the shed and then I'll be fetching it every time she rides and putting it up when she's done. Right now it's lurking in a spare room, but my husband-sense is tingling and I feel like the tolerance for it sitting on a kickstand indoors is wearing thin.

Any help is appreciated! Jokes too, I'm sure those are coming.
