Rocky Mountain used to distribute Ritchey mountain bikes in Canada (mid eighties) and if I recall, these were labelled as A series models that were mass produced albeit very well made... these frames say Ritchey on them and are not as sought after as the models like the Team Comp and Anapurna which were personally built by Tom Ritchey.

Ritchey dropouts and tube sets have been used widely by other manufacturers like RM but this does not make them a Ritchey... my handbuilt Moulden has Ritchey dropouts and a Ritchey seat tube which is identifiable by the oval shape where it meets the bottom bracket. The actual tubing was Tange Prestige double butted.
