I'll be the first to admit that young kids growing up with Nintendo, Playstations, and the internet can be pretty clueless about certain things. How do you explain bike riding over the internet? When we were young, we had to go out and practice and keep trying until we got it right. Sometimes we broke our bikes, sometimes we broke. Ask me to explain the advantage of ferrous over non-ferrous frame materials. Or the difference in tensile strength and densities between steel, titanium and aluminum. If my son asked me how to wheelie, I'd take him outside and we'd practice together. Oddly, my youngest (a girl) wants to get into BMX. But I think she just wants to meet boys. [smacks forehead]
