Dear Carleton,

I originally posted about cramping in my calves, and I wanted to say thanks. I grabbed a couple electrolyte gels from my LBS and haven't had a problem with cramping since. Seems like I may just have to change my diet so I don't get out of control with these things (they are actually really tasty and I feel like I could eat them like candy haha). But now I have a second problem. I'm currently riding with DZR Clipless shoes, and some Crankbrother Candy 1 pedals and I've unclipped twice when slowing down from high speed. I wasn't skidding just "skip-checking" as I call it, so I don't twist my foot. Am I maybe exerting too much force on the pedals that they just unclip or is there another problem. The shoes, cleats, and pedals are all just about 6 months old so they aren't too worn down. Thanks in advance.
