They are only "bling" if you can't (or won't) afford them.
I don't have any problem with people buying what they want and can afford. High end wheels really do make a difference (usually). We just have to make a personal decision whether the performance is worth the cost or not.
BTW, Clydes don't need 32 spoke wheels. I have a set of 16 spoke DA wheels that are over ten years old with ten's of thousands of miles on them...
