To do it right, You'll need something like the Park HCW-5 for the lock ring and an HCW-11 for the adjustable cup. If you are going to toss the BB and go cartridge, you can get away with a pair of groove-joint pliers to remove the lock ring and an adjustable wrench to remove the adjustable cup but you have to use caution as it is easy to slip and damage the frame.
Is the standard crank puller a CCP-22? If I want to go cartridge, how will I know what size to get? Thinking about a shimano BB.
