Thanks for the advice guys. I actually found a 2009 CAAD9 with sora/ tiagra components for $480 on craigslist. The thumb shifting wasn't what I was looking for but I think it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be so I'm happy to finally own my first road bike
I figured the frame was a solid frame to build up if I get more into cycling. I can't wait to ride it!
