Agree with DenverFox: mileage + weather conditions, not rides.
So for us, about every 100 to 125 miles which is about 1 week's worth of riding for this tandem duo.
Stoker Kay does the laundry and most of the work on this tandem!
BTW temps today in Tucson was only 90 degrees and no snow in the forecast . . . yet!
