We got our first snow last Saturday night. This week has been an excellent refresher as I've had to deal with virtually every conceivable type of road condition. Loose snow Sunday, mix of loose and packed on unplowed streets Monday, and increasingly icy, slushy, brown sugar, refrozen slush ... through the remainder of the week. And today the spring-like, two tire tracks clear to the pavement with lumps of melting packed snow in the center and to both sides.

I really hate the car churned loose snow. A few times I'm going along then suddenly my wheel is turned 45 degees to the side, stops rolling and just skids sideways, which requires a very quick correction.

Here's a video from Sunday out in the fresh snow using a pole mount attached to my head tube. While I was riding the camera looked like it was bouncing too much, but the video looks fine.
