Not purple. Started life out as polished aluminum. Somebody removed the decals. And you are right: it pegs the goofy end of the scale.
As a lover of old Italian racing bikes, I am really out of my league with this.
It is very light and rides nice. Feels like blasphemy or treachery to write that. I expect to be drummed out of the CR Corps any minute...
