I bike in running
tights basically all winter, with zero, one, or - if it's in the teens - two layers of thermal tights underneath. One can very well get insulated bike tights; but since I am also a runner I prefer to buy things that I can reasonably utilize across multiple activities. I see a lot of people riding in loose running pants, and I guess there isn't anything wrong with that. It's just not my personal preference.
