However, since you are not very familiar with what you are doing I would recommend going to a shop to have the cassette removed from your old wheel and installed on the new bike. Ask them if you can watch though, this way you will know how to do it next time. A good shop should only charge you $5 - $10 to change the cassette over.
I think you can do it yourself...and the tools are cheap. You'll have more satisfaction doing it yourself. Park ranks it as a novice chore.
