We diverged from the route at Eastern st, taking Annapolis Rd back to the city. Two guys had no lights, and one guy had just a tail light! I stuck with them to Waterview Ave. and then it sunk in that I was just heading away from a nice warm bed, so I split off and took Hollin's Ferry / Hammond's Ferry road back to BWI and then the trail on home.
But I wasn't going to fall asleep at the pub!

Great riding with Max also. I liked this return route much better than what we rode last year. However, there were some scary exit overpasses and intersections made far worse by darkness. I'll probably take Dave's advice and schedule this for a date with more available light.
