In the last couple of years I have invested in the good rain and cold gear. Here in Oregon rain is just something you have to deal with if you want to ride more then 4 months of the year. My friends and I do a night mountain bike ride once a week. So, it motivates me to get out there in the bad weather since I know that I am not the only one who is getting wet or cold. That said, until I had the gear, I stayed inside and off the bike until better weather came around.
