Fastest way to teach kids to ride is to take the pedals off. They learn the balance thing first then put the pedals back on and off they go. Worked for my grandchildren and has worked for countless others. Training wheels are more hindrance than help
His parents are starting the transition to pedals now. He really has the balance down great, we have in the past held him on rollers to teach him pedaling. The concept is there and he will take off soon!
