Take a look at these SwampThing

The freeride version comes in a 2.35 and the xc is a 2.1. Maxxis however runs on the smaller side. I would get the 42a compound, run a dh tube with psi in the low to mid 20's. You will still slip and slide over roots and rocks that are wet but not as much as with other tires. I would suggest taking the tires of, if you go with a 42a, as soon as it dries up a bit because they will wear out fast.
