DO NOT DO THIS!!!!!!! These freewheels are super lightweight and very delicate if not handled properly. I have seen many of these get ruined by ham-handed mechanics using tools that were not appropriate or who used methods like those described by Alan Edwards. The proper tools are not that difficult to find. You don't necessarily need to buy it, you can likely find somebody in your area who has one. I have two of them that I have lent out to many people in my area. (I am not keen to mail them)
