There are several.

Jamis Ventura Sport for $700 or the Jamis Ventura Comp for $975. Specialized Sectuer for $880.

Since you live in Virginia, you are close enough to a Performance to take advantage of their deals. This Fuji Newest is a great bike for the same price as the Felt.

Just make sure you ride a bunch of bikes before you buy.
