I fell on ice recently and it took me until two nights later to find a bruise on my ankle. I think it's from unclipping right before I fell and having the bike fall on my foot. Unlike you, my bike was undamaged. I find myself to be lucky! Just a bruised hip and ankle!
I hope you heal fast and your bike does too!
