I had a similar dilemma with by Bontrager. Picked up an Exotic brand rigid carbon fork (visually exactly like the White Bros. one but with different stickers) for about $200 shipped off of Ebay. Been an excellent fork, and light as crap. Mine came in around 1.89 lbs. after the steerer was cut. Disk compatible too...
