Just bad luck. I flatted during the first week of riding on my new Conti GP 4 Seasons and haven't had another flat in over 3,000 miles of riding. Same thing happened with some Panaracer Pasela TGs I ran for a while. On the other hand, I've some some Torelli 23 mm racing tires with a high thread count that haven't flatted in about 1,000 miles of use.
