1977 Trek TX770 Value

This bike is a 60 CM bike and it is too big for me. I will probably hit the big auction site. I want to try to get as much as I can for it because the proceeds will go toward a bike that fits me, most likely a grail bike. If I have done my research correctly I think this is a TX770 from 1978. It has hardly any miles on it, and the the whole bike is in unbelievable shape, Paint is perfect, no scratches or rust, stored in a dry basement, etc. I was able to purchase it from a guy I know last year. It doesn't fit me, as you can see from the photo's the seat is way down so I could take a ride. It needs new hoods, bar tape, etc. and I will do this before I sell it. I think it is first Gen Dura Ace, but am not 100 percent sure. Would I be better off selling it whole or parting it out. I can put together a good auction and can make this bike right for selling before I sell it. I have many bike sales in the past on feebay and usually get top dollar. What do you think, any info is appreciated. Thank you. Al.
