I use DuraAce chains just because all the exploding ultegra chains in 2010-early 2011 scared me off (I almost face planted when mine broke on a 12% grade). I'm sure ultegra chains are fine now, they just had a bad batch. Besides, the DA chains were only $45 or so. I use 'em for about 3000 miles, and clean them every 150mi.
