I used to enjoy watching crows use simple tools to crack open the walnuts that fell from the trees. They would fly over the roadway and drop them in front of cars and then fly down to pick up the pieces. I never did find a motorist who was aware of this happening; it was common enough behavior that many cyclists were aware of it.
