Yeah, you do lose track resolution with long tracks so I also split them up sometimes. The newer units can take more points.
I'm upset with Garmin over their map licensing but I might just bend over and get an Oregon since my 60Csx is dying. Garmin makes really nice hardware. There is nothing quite to match it. Yeah, mmmm, the Oregon is really nice.
