After two days of researching and comparing different brands of hybrids, I've finally decided on the Trek 7700. My LBS has one in stock and I'm going to get it tomorrow. The LBS is about 15 miles from where I live and I plan on riding it home, so it will be a real test. There are a few things I want changed(clipless pedals, suspension seat post) which the dealer will gladly do. It is a 17.5" frame. I'm 5' 10" tall and my inseam is 32" so I think it will be a perfect fit. I like the idea of being able to ride in an upright position which my MTB doesn't offer. More to come......................

I'm 58 and had a total knee replacement in 2002, so the ride really will be a test.
