Personally, I think that taking pride in your ride is part of the enjoyment of cycling. All black and yellow is pretty sweet. My bike used to be all black until I started messing with its components. Now it's all black and silver, still pretty sharp in my book. I can't really fault you for wanting to coordinate because I've passed up components in the past because of their colour.
