Yes, large concentrations of MSG may cause short term physiological effects. And if you are sensitive to it, it would be wise major sources of it. But you are deluding yourself if you think you can cut it out of your diet completely. As any type protein will form MSG during the process of digestion. This is not a problem for people sensitive to MSG because digestion is slow in the release of MSG (as compared to taking MSG in pure crystal form).
