What I don't understand about the coverage is why don't they include parts of the WHOLE race during the evening replay? I was disappointed they didn't show anything once again in the evening show. They have plenty of time to edit the program to fit into the allotted time slot, why not show the entire climb of Diablo, then skip through some of the parts along the flatter roads? I work a lot in East County...I don't need to see them ride along Marsh Creek Road or Byron Highway. Cut 20 minutes out of that stuff, throw in the Diablo climb, and Patterson Pass. If the guys aren't going to race, then at least let me see how fast professionals climb roads we all know! They made a big deal about how Diablo was one of the most requested roads to be included in this whole race, then when it came time to show it, they completely ignored it!
