Email Specialized through their website. It's actually not that easy (at least last time I did it), I think you have to go to the support section and go through the FAQ tab before you can get to a "contact us" type of form.

They do sell some replacement and small parts on the website, if they sell yours, that would be the easiest way to get it. I've bought things through their website before (Slim Shims) and it was a fine transaction.

Anyway, I needed a bolt and nut for my Specialized seatpost (tilt adjustment, M4 or 5 bolt with a barrel-like nut). They sent me one quickly, free, once I found the contact form and then, somehow sent them a photo of exactly what I was looking for. You might refer to a specific online diagram as the term "connector bolt" was absolutely meaningless to me when I read your thread title.

My local shop was of no help at all, but hopefully yours will be. If you're lucky they'll have one in their box of misc. stuff.
