We have 3 bike shops in a town of 3500. Mountain biking as well as road riding are quite popular. Motorists seem to be more aware and cooperative in sharing the road, too. When the Boyne/Charlevoix road resurface is finished we will finally have another route to ride and will hook up Boyne City to the Little Traverse Wheelway. As it is, the road is a terrible and unsafe surface. We've had bikers hit by cars along that stretch.
