Call me a dinosaur (because I am one), but I'm not sure it's a good idea to make "cheap," "under 20 pounds" and "carbon fiber" the top three qualities on your checklist. Carbon can be enormously strong, but when you start cutting costs, you edge toward Catastrophic Failure Territory.
