What recovery regime do people use here? I find recovery slow and could spend more time training if I could sustain it - I rest and eat well etc. My 'coach' is a 40-year-old friend with a lot of experience and he gives me a program which i think is good - even though i think he doesnt fully appreciate the limitations of age and mediocre genetics. He has suggested trying a three-week cycle of two weeks effort and one recovery. Any thoughts welcome.
