Lets just assume you are talking about 8 in the rear and a standard road double crankset. Yes,and depending on BCD you can ditch the small ring buy what is called a tripilizer ring and then bolt a third granny ring to that. You also need a longer BB spindle.Somewhat pointless, unless you are dealing with a nice crankset you want to continue using.
