Nice one, EEP. How did you like the people at Bike Attack? I've read some negative things about them on Yelp, but you can never tell about a reviewer's objectivity.

Bike Attack is great. Small shop but the guys there were all super helpful, especially Eric and Victor. They didnt mind all of my newbie questions and helped me pick out lights, a lock and a rear rack. The shop has free brake/chain maintenance for life, which should be helpful.

Just got back from my first ride, a slightly inclined 5-miler home from the shop. The ride was awesome.. Smooth, fast enough, comfortable. I need to work on pedaling from a complete stop at a red light, but otherwise it was perfect. The 6-speeds gave mesons good flexibility on the small hills, and I was able to run a few errands with the rear rack.

Really happy. Thanks again for all of the help.
