I used to live in Middletown near the bird sanctuary. The back roads there are pleasant. Ten speed Spokes just had their big ride of the year, The Solstice Ride that draws, probably, 150 cyclists These days I live in Bristol and ride frequently in the Tiverton/ Little Compton/ Westport area where there are several hundred miles of quiet country roads. Get yourself a Bristol County map as well as a Rubel Eastern Mass. map for many good cycling roads. I also ride frequently with the Narragansett Bay Wheelmen,
