Couldn't you say that about most any sport? Who needs a 4-hour football game (3 hours of which are commercials and other breaks) when the winner is usually decided in the last quarter.
I like watching the whole thing. Little things happing all the time. Flat stages are a bit less exciting maybe. Lots of nice scenery too.
