If it is this hot in August(and why wouldn't it be?) I may vary well opt for 100k instead. Then again with rest stops things may be different.
On a side note, I'm amassing everything for a 600 tricolor shimergo conversion but might not have it ready by then.
I am trying to get ready for the 100k here in flat-as-a-pancake Illinois. I decided to:
- embrace head winds
- hunt for hills
- ride one gear higher
That said, I fear I may still walk up some hills. If you choose the 100k option, you will at least have company.
