Raced every year except one year, 1995, the year my youngest was born. Also had some years with just a handful of races -- maybe 5 years but raced nonetheless. So far in 2012 I've paid entry fees and pinned numbers on my back for 57 races if my record keeping is correct. I've won a handful of races over the years with more consistent top 10 places way back in the 1980s when I was a skinny Cat 3. Now I'm a Cat 3 55+ Master that keeps running into former Olympians, World Champions, and National Champions who are in this bow wave of aging Baby Boomers that keep racing too.
and you never went pro???
geez that's a lot of effort, ha
