The beautiful Merckx (owned by ianrox on the forums) that ink1373 posted in the fixie/photos thread alerted me to the Nitto Anatomic bars (as pictured, top here: http://www.businesscycles.com/tbars-nitto.htm).

I've been riding with steel Deda Pista drops that came off a 05 pista, these: http://store.bianchiusa.com/cgi-bin/store/E5010.html.

Those bars are sufficient but I find that riding in the drops, isn't as comfortable on my hands as I'd like them to be. I'm not sure if the length of the flat ends of the drops are too short but I find myself wanting a bit more. Aside from that, I find that at the track I want my hands to be a little more forward closer to the curves but the missing lump (which is where I'm guessing the anatomic part would play a role here) bothers me.

Thus, would anatomic bars solve this (and are the Nittos good?) or would a longer flat area in the drops at the ends help?
