I had the day off and the weather was beautiful, so I decided to get a nice long ride in. The ride was split almost exactly 50/50 in RI and Ct. One of the fun aspects of this ride was that I went through some towns in CT which I have only ridden through once or twice before and I went through them north to south instead of east to west. I wanted to get closer and take a better picture, but it was too overgrown and it looked like deer tick heaven, so I passed on a better angle.

Brooklyn CT is a beautiful town. I went through Dayville first and then later Brooklyn and the contrast between the colonial and early republic architecture in these two towns was pretty dramatic. I'll have to record that on another trip.
